WHAT IS METRISCOPE?

Metriscope is versatile and visual real-time performance monitoring and diagnostic tool.
It allows system specific packages to be developed and installed into the Metriscope console.
Metriscope utilizes patent pending technology.
|
THE METRISCOPE CONSOLE

The Metriscope console gives users the ability to view real-time or historic data, configure and view alarms,
design visual layouts, generate reports and develop custom data collectors. It is also the application host for
the system specific packages.

Metriscope provides an intuitive screen layout so that administrators can effortlessly check the health of
their system by simply viewing the screen or looking at previously triggered alarms. System performance metrics
and information are displayed using different visual components (containers, charts, etc.). These components change
color as their health decreases or improves. Metriscope also offers professional advice that is written by
people who are experts in the particular system management domain. Metriscope not only saves you time, but
also provides you with a wealth of education.

Metriscope also gives users the ability to easily design custom pages. Visual components can simply be selected,
dropped onto a canvas page and linked to performance metrics with just a few mouse clicks. These visual components
can be moved and resized so that the user can visually design their own custom page showing data only they are
most interested in.

One of Metriscope's main strengths is its ability to allow the user to effortlessly configure alarms and alarm actions.
Users can define severity thresholds on particular metrics and link actions to the raised alarm. Also, time-based
alarms can be configured to allow for spasmodic system behavour. Alarm counts for the different severities are always
visible from the main window so that the user can immediately check alarm logs and historic data.
|
MONITORING PLUGINS - THE PACKAGES

The Metriscope packages are system specific plugins used by the console. Packages typically show the most common and
important data on their main page and the user can easily drill down into subpages for more specific data. All packages
come with recommended pre-defined alarm severity thresholds and also include intuitive balloon help and professional
system assistance for problem resolution.
